StickFrag gets new maps, modes, guns and fixes all the time. Here is what each release changed, newest
first. Found a bug or have an idea? Tell us on the ideas board or on
Discord.
Toggle aim and cleaner reloads
Aim can toggle: right click once to aim, once more to stop (Settings). Holding stays the default.
No more double shot after a reload, a gun switch, a throw or a bandage.
Keys 1 to 4 on the kill screen open or close a slot of the loadout strip. They never change your gun by mistake.
Big fights run lighter: fewer far sounds play at once.
Sound that your browser stopped comes back with any key or click.
A thank-you page with a tip button for anyone who wants to help pay for the servers.
Winners, packs and paint
At the end of a match everyone sees the winners in 3D, with confetti and fireworks.
After the results, 10 seconds at your spawn to look round: GET READY, then GO! Pick your guns in the meantime.
A new pack opening: tear the strip, and the foil changes colour as it turns.
Map drops fall under a parachute and stay 2 minutes. Several can be out at once, and every drop you take is a pack.
Bodies react to the gun: a close shotgun flips them, a sniper spins them off their feet.
Hits splash paint on the floor. A headshot makes a big critical splash.
The scoreboard shows each player with their hat, and how rare that hat is.
The grenade launcher is a six-shot revolver: no reload, then your own gun comes back.
Reload sounds follow the hands, bullets fly by, and far shots sound far.
The results screen counts up this match's XP on your level bar.
Hats and card packs
Hats: unlock them with levels and challenges, and wear them in every match.
Card packs: three rare hats after your first match, then a pack every 5 matches. A hat you already own turns into XP.
Map drops: a pack falls in ranked matches with bots. Hold F to take it. Listen for its sparkle.
Pick your guns from the loadout strip on the kill screen, with a new heavy weapon slot.
The home page is your haven: your stickman in an armchair, with your hats and colours.
A server in North America. It opens once enough players near it are online.
Each map has its own number of seats, from 8 on Farm to 14 on Depot.
A HUD size slider in the settings, and sensitivity you can type in.
Teams wear blue and red kits. Level 2 now comes in about a minute.
Far gunshots fade out fast, so your own fight is easier to hear.
Free for all
Free for all: a new mode. 15 minutes or 50 kills, and you pick your gun each life.
The play menu has mode buttons, map pictures and room codes.
See-through iron sights. A hit splashes in the colour of the player you hit.
Lower ping for many players: the game connects straight to the server when that is faster.
A touch-screen laptop with a mouse can play now.
The new Depot
Depot is a new, bigger map.
Sights in every match.
Watch your own ragdoll fall after a death.
Guides for new players: how to play, the maps, the weapons, and playing on a Chromebook.
A feedback button
A feedback button at the top of the home page: tell us what to fix.
If your browser runs without graphics acceleration, the game tells you why it lags and how to fix it.
Port, team deathmatch and gun game
Port: a new map.
Team deathmatch with loadouts and a sidearm, and gun game with a crown for the leader.
Vote for the next map at the end of a match.
Grenades, bandages, and a shooting range to try every gun.
Slide, a kill feed, a higher jump, and windows you can climb in Town.
Your shots hit where you saw the target, even with ping.
Lost the connection? You come back to the same seat.
The ideas board: like the ideas you want next. And a leaderboard.
StickFrag is live
The first public version: stickman matches in your browser, free, with nothing to install.
